4. User Conduct & Content

You are responsible for the security of your app data and any account credentials. All activity under your profile is your responsibility.

Any text, images, or data you provide to the platform remain your responsibility. You grant Sonara the necessary rights to process this content to provide our services.
4.3 Restricted Actions
To preserve our community, you agree not to:
- Bypass system security or attempt unauthorized access
- Use automated agents to harvest data from the platform
- Upload or transmit harmful code or disruptive materials
- Impersonate others or misrepresent your identity
- Harass or infringe upon the rights of other users or the platform
5. Geospatial Engagement
Sonara's core mechanics rely on location-based data. Your consent for this processing is a requirement for core features.
We request access to your device location to enable map-based discovery and proximity-based interactions (for example, showing AI characters on the map and determining whether you are within range for an encounter). Location access is used only while the app is in use and you are engaging with these features.
If you do not grant location permission, location-based features may be unavailable or limited. You can change your location permission choices at any time in your device settings.
6. AI Entity Disclosures
Interactions within Sonara involve advanced artificial intelligence. You acknowledge that:
- AI companions are algorithmic simulations, not human beings
- Responses are generated for entertainment and creative purposes
- Output may occasionally be unexpected or inaccurate
- External AI services power these interactions and may process underlying text
7. Proprietary Rights
The Sonara app, its designs, characters, and trademarks are the exclusive property of Sonara. You are granted a limited, personal, and non-transferable right to use the service for its intended purposes.
8. Liability & Disclaimers
Sonara is provided on an "as is" basis. While we strive for excellence, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access or perfectly accurate AI responses. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sonara shall not be held liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.
9. Agreement Termination
Failure to comply with these terms may result in immediate suspension of access. You may terminate this agreement at any time by deleting the application and clearing your stored data.
